BLT anti shudder valve/ EGR delete

Featured Replies

ive just recently bought a allard egr delete for my vrs but looking on here some people are for keeping the anti shudder valve and others are all for removing it. just wondering whats the good and bad points of removing/keeping the anti shudder valve?

Thanks :)

take vac off yours for a couple days and see if you can live without it. it brings the engine to a gentle stop. Without it the compression stops it and it gives a very unrefined shake on stopping the engine.

I just disconnected my egr and blocked the pipe, has same effect but keeps anti shudder

Just remeber to remove the whole small pipe that goes onto the bottom of the egr, fit the small 2 bolt blanking plate stright onto the manifold
