Featured Replies

No water getting through to rear wash/wipe. Doe's it get water from same tank as front and doe's it have seperate pump.

Any info much appreciated.

Brian

all from the same place mate

more than likely its popped off

park the car and try ur rear squirter for a while and ull probs find a puddle under ur left wheel arch,

Either that or it's p*ssing into the bootlid.

Check for wet carper in boot, under rear bench, rear footwells.

Could have popped off near front left wheel arch too so look for water under car,

Also nozzle could be blocked/damaged. Replacement is about £6 from skoda dealer.

Thanks very much everybody, I'll have a look whilst we have the good weather.

Much appreciated,

Brian

Look down the right hand side of the engine towards the bulk head... You'll see the join that has come apart.. Push it back together...

* may also be boot end but got no experience of that...

mine generally pops the pipe off near the airbox if its been frozen and it has in the past popped the rear off also (accessible from the LHR trim running up the door jam) .

The car has one tank and only one pump to do both the front and rear washers.

It is very likely to be a split pipe connection. It is a very common issue with the Fabia. Have a look at this thread (post #11) to find where the pipe connectors are. Rear washer jet issues... help

The most common place is at the bulk-head, behind the airbox (mine normally goes there) . I once had it split behind the NSR seat.

Only one pump? How does it pump them separately then? Also I noticed the rear washer will squirt when the front ones don't as the screenwash runs out, so I suspect there are 2 pumps and the rear is lower in the bottle.
