Has anyone fitted a 57i K&N kit or similar to a vRS?

Just want to know if it has the normal power LOSS (over panel filter) and what noise difference it makes (being a deezil)

IIRC it doesnt really have any benifits at all. There really isnt enough space in the engine bay for a cone filter, cpufreak has a dynatwist on his ibiza, but has had problems, traced back to airflow issues due to the tight space
