Excuse me for being dense , but on the new Octy tiptronic can you only use the gears with the gearshift or does it have paddles on steering wheel ?

I have ordered tiptronic but only test drove a manual as there were none available.

I thought they were all DSG not tiptronic.

The DSG has full auto mode but no paddles on the Skoda, thats reserved for the 'prestige' brands.

I ordered 2.0 FSI petrol and it said tiptronic gearbox.......definately........I think?? :confused:

Only the Diesels have dsg.

But still no paddles...ho hum

DSG will be along with the 2.0T I would expect, like the rest of the group.
