New guy

Hi all,

Picked up an Octavia vrs a few months ago to replace a Honda Accord that I gracefully managed to hit a roundabout with in bad weather up in the Moray area just before christmas...

Very impressed with the performance/comfort and size, but do have a few niggles and questions if people would'nt mind advising/answering?

Two niggles the car suffers with is pooling water in the front passenger footwell (searched the forum and I cleared out the scuttle and and cabin filter housing, but this has'nt fixed it) and wheezing/squeaking front suspension in dry weather over speed bumps etc. Again searching the forum, the cause seems to be worn bushings, but would I need to replace all 6 front bushings?

And the last question I have is regarding aux input to the HU. I ran an xcarlink in the Honda which worked perfectly, but have seen not many good reviews here. I'm after something similar instead of replacing the HU to a newer version (I have the stream HU)

After searching the forum the solisto seems to be what I'm after, but I dont know what cable I need with it: http://www.solisto.d...c〈=en#cable

My stream HU is linked to a CD changer in the boot.

Thanks for your time.

Drew.

I wish i could help you but i'm useless and haven't a clue. However, can i say a big "welcome" to you!
