Lowering Octy vRS

Featured Replies

I need some advice:

If i buy new springs for my Octavia is it just a case of dropping the wheel removing the standard spring and replacing it with the new or is there a bit more to it. Will i need anything else and do i need to reposition anything els?

M

You will need a spring compressor to get the spring off the front struts, and i think the rear needs compressing to get them from their mounts.

I was told i might need to have electrical stuff moved from the suspension strut? Is this true or was i talking to a muppet?

No tie bar, no electric, no roll bar revisions required... just drop it.

If you go too low though, you will wreck your exhaust, it will ride like **** and bits will start to rattle and fall off. You should be good if you're just doing springs and shocks though  Should go round corners like it's on rails :D
