I need some advice:

If i buy new springs for my Octavia is it just a case of dropping the wheel removing the standard spring and replacing it with the new or is there a bit more to it. Will i need anything else and do i need to reposition anything els?

You will need a spring compressor to get the spring off the front struts, and i think the rear needs compressing to get them from their mounts.

I was told i might need to have electrical stuff moved from the suspension strut? Is this true or was i talking to a muppet?

No tie bar, no electric, no roll bar revisions required... just drop it.

If you go too low though, you will wreck your exhaust, it will ride like **** and bits will start to rattle and fall off. You should be good if you're just doing springs and shocks though Should go round corners like it's on rails

pete how have you lowered yours? just with springs?

mines low at the front but still to high at the back still even after a 25mm drop, whats yours looks lower at the back,
