I've owned a few vdubs before. The reason for getting a Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.9TDi, is 'cos it averages 60mpg on a daily basis.

Just having the usual probs with old cars at the mo'though.

Currently replacing the power steering hose with a second hand one. (New=£175.18!!!!)

Also replaced alternator & gear linkage.

After steering hose, will look at faulty air-con.

Bloody cars.
