I thought I'd put my own little touch on the strut brace as didn't really like it in red, & the "vRS" green has been done before. I think it fits in nicely with the rest of the engine bay but it helps with the car being black in the first place!

So, what d'ya think?

That is very very nice

Paint finish looks really good mate, almost looks powder coated. This has reminded me i really should take the Seat sticker off mine this weekend :o

Now for the really obvious question...where did you get that decal?!?!? :D

Thanks Goodas!

I choose satin black mainly because gloss black can be difficult to get a even depth to the finish. It's turned out better than I expected, which is a bonus! :)

Decal is from here.

Looks good. I was gonna paint my second one green (It's been waiting in the garage for a couple of weeks) but the black does look nice with the addition of the sticker, mind you at

Very nicely done  - I will probably end up just spraying it green as I won't have the time but that does look ace in black with the sticker :D

Any chance in getting the Seat part number of the brace?

Cheers

Jobo,

Its on this ite everywhere, do a search. Its even included in the review section.

If you haven't already found the part no it's 6L0 0717 10 & can be bought from any SEAT dealer for around

Looks good indeed I was going to paint my black but thought it ight not stand out enough, though seeing yours I have to sy it looks very good indeed. I went for a black and green combo, it looks ok, though I need to tidy up one end as the line is not straight enough for my liking.

For anyone who choose to go ahead with the "Seat Strut Brace Colour" mod then my best advice is take your time. The longer you take the better the finish.
