I am thinking of getting a powerflow exhaust for my vrs as anyone had one and what do they sound like. I don't want anything loud

I had a mufflerectomy done by powerflow in bornemouth (Mike Stokes). Cost £100 for it all in. They even made me an additional sleeve for the standard back box, so i can swap easily between the two.

Sound is good, theres a "bark" on start up, not much noise when accelerating normally (if you didnt know it had an exhaust you wouldnt notice)

Cruising on the motorway is the same, unless your pushing on abit, between 2.5K and 3K you can hear it more, but not annoying.

Hard accelerating again not very loud inside. A friend has told me its quite loud though, although I did overtake him.

Sounds good in a car park too, nice burble from mine.

Sometimes get the owl noise too, but its not as pronounced as some youtube vids.

I have a powerflo back box and it's noticeably loud. And my boss has a full exhaust system and that is loud.

Depends what you ask for. My local powerflo dealer will do a exhaust to suit what you want so if its quiet you want he will usually fit the large back box he can to muffle the sound if you want it loud/raspy etc he will fit small back box and so on.
