Exhaust help and suggestions!

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just bought my fabia VRS today and need some help with the exhaust

Basically the backbox is goosed! Good enough reason to change the whole system!

I've seen a Piper system with the J3 tailpipe option 6x4 oval

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280837103679?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I don't really want to spend anymore than £250

I'm just after other suggestions or experiences people have had with the Piper system

Thanks in advance

I`v got a piper system, sounds great, looks great, build quality is banging, sits perfect in the cut out and fit is spot on. Well worth the money imo

do i get the one with or without silencer?

more than £100 difference in price!!

Get it without a silencer! Have a look for a 'Mufflerectomy' on here that's basically what it will sound like. Had one done on mine - sounds great :)

I've just had a look at Mufflerectomy...what does this involve? sorry if i seem a bit stupid but i'm new to Skoda's

one last plea for help before i click the buy button lol.,...........

Yes! Do it on the rude racing website though and say you are a member of ZSOC - you will get it for about £200 with discount.

A Mufflerectomy basically means taking out the silencer

I'm near Chester mate, think its a bit far from you :( unless you don't mind of course lol

Chester! I'm from the Mold / Ruthin area.

You will need to cut the back box off in order to get the exhaust out as it is one piece from the car back. I think you can get it out whole if you drop the shocks etc but if it's knackered then youuu aswell cut it off :)
