I'd be very surprised if a 7 seater were to be introduced so soon in the model's life. (though I'm always ready to be proved wrong).

It certainly would be less difficult to engineer the floorpan of a 7 seater in 2WD form, rather than 4x4.

You have to find somewhere for the feet of the 3rd row of passengers - not easy when you also have to accommodate a propshaft & especially a rear dif.

Is there already anything in the VAG stable with the Golf/Yeti front floorpan & an extended rear that could be used?
