Need a calender/planner for my S3

Featured Replies

Evening peaple,

I am really disapointed with the Samsung GS3!

As an internet toy its good, as a fone its really poor and a paint to use!

As a planner its even worse!

I had a Blackberry Bold last fone and that was ace as a fone due to the buttons and email facility to it, not so good to surf but hey thats what a laptop is for.

Back to it, the calender in the BB was ace. On the GS3 when setting tasks there is a very limited selection on the repeat function unlike the BB where you seem to be able to select what ever you like?

I work on a 10 week rota and need to set it up but that would meen doing it for each day off from now till I get Fired or retire(love my job so cant see me quitting lol)

Does anyone know of an app or something I can do this? basically on the BB i put in the 10 week rota and just selected repeat every 10 weeks and same for Pay days as that is every 4 weeks not monthly.

Really need something as this fone really is annoying.

cheers

billy

Sorry to hear about your woes Billy.

I have an iPhone 4 and these is a facility for repeats in the calendar, but not for a custom repeat like you mention.

I CAN however use iCal on the iMac to set up custom repeats and then it will 'sync' to the iPhone, so to some extent I have learned to live with that.

Not knowing the Android platform, all I can suggest is to search the Market place or whatever they have called their equivalent of the apps store and I'm sure you will find what you're looking for.

I use the gmail calendar and use it to sync across my Apple bits as well.

Have you checked if that will do as you want?

One of the many "hidden negatives" of the Samsung... glad I picked a HTC over it!

Do you have access to Outlook anywhere?

Erm

Not a clue. Lol

I get stuff like this expecting it to work. Not have to pee about lol

Make sure you have a google account set up on your phone.

Go to google on your computer and login to the same account as your phone.

You can then create a calender entry and add a custom repeat period.

It will then sync to your phone automatically.
