On the way back

Featured Replies

I've been a member of the forum for a long time but spent some time away as i dabbled with a Ford and then my current car a Seat Leon FR Tdi.

Its time for change the car again and i have the pleasure of an Octy vRS CR TDi as a demo for a few days. I must admit i'd forgotten just how bloody good these cars were and i'm happy to say it looks very likely that i'll be getting one to replace the Leon when that goes back in January at the end of the lease.

I've been looking at the specs and can add a few nice options to the car but without going for the DSG and adding the bluetooth for an extra wedge what options to we have with manual cars? - at the moment i'm thinking a Parrot or similar would be a good option, or with the lack of navigation (again, i dont want to add £1400 for the columbus) i've been looking at TomToms new units that have voice control and the ability to connect to a phone (anyone used one of these?)

Anyway, its time to start lurking and reading on whats changed since i had my old mk1 vRS (N19 VRS if anyone remembers it)...

Cheers, Nige
