Why do people have to have no respect!

Featured Replies

so only got my vRS SE back about 3 weeks ago after it went into the bodyshop for 2 months as it was just a side job when they had nothing to do but just my luck they was really busy so didnt get onto it, it only had some little bits done

anyway so car looked perfect, came out of work today to find someone has gone from the front of the wing all the way down the side to the quarter panel with what looks like a hand bag and scratched it

NOT F*****G HAPPY!

why do people have to be so careless and disrespectful to other peoples cars!

just hoping it mops out! otherwise its back down the bodyshop!

rant over!

Unlucky mate. It annoys the heck out of my how little respect other people have nowadays. I still need to get my car sorted at some point as it looks like something has been dragged across my roof :-(

my mate had it on his brand new corsa looks like someone hit it with a football on the bonnet and someone has caught the corner of his bumper like pulling out of a parking space not knowing their distance! like yours its black so it looks so bad! have you tried black t cut on it as this made my mates bonnet completely disappear! :)

its not just me then that gets a bit pived off with people that walk too close to others cars when parked or when kids kick a full size leather football around :@

And it gets worse when it's local teenage yoof. But then that those that do ,usually don't have anything of value, so they've got nothing to respect ( except being thumped)

Glad I moved from Leeds to where I currently am in South Wales for this reason. Neighbours were terrible in Leeds intentionally putting rubbish on top, bouncing footballs off, and as far as I could tell parents were telling their kids to do it.

Only thing I have to worry about now is the birds pooping on it, flies hovering over the roof then dying and getting etched into the paint, and the occasional cat climbing up on the roof.

footballs are the things that worry me the most last week i had my car literally parked right outside the workshop at work there was kids playing football for about 2 hours about 20ft from my car lets just say i didnt get any work done in them 2 hours! haha

The more annoying thing is if i had parked 2 spaces up the road today i would have caught whoever did it on the cctv! no mater how much i moan i cant do anything about it now, im just gonna pray that it comes out when i get it mopped tomorrow

My wee Fab is still sporting a large dent in both driver side doors where some scroat decided to kick them for ****s & giggles.

If i'd caught them, i'd have wrapped a wheel brace around their head!

Yeah, i got left a nice little present the other night after coming out of Meadowhell ( shopping centre ) some kind person had wacked my wing mirror, cracking it and breakin the glass in process. GREAT

*sarcasm*

Well that sucks - hopefully it'll polish out! (alternatively if you're handy with a size 000 paint brush, it may be possible to touch it in with some thinned lacquer or paint - I've done this on mine in the past and can't see where I've done it!)

My dad had this once ... on his Transporter (so the wing mirror isn't exactly low down!)! :wonder:

Dare I say it, it could be the area your in, unless you've upset someone? I used to live near Dartford, only time someone intentionally scratched my car bonnet when parked in my drive.

I always double park when in shopping centres etc and take up two spaces. I'd rather be looked at as an annoying than have scratches car park dents as there's nothing worse !

But unfortunatlly some people then think 'what a ****' and do something anyway

i park miles away from the shops in car parks and take 2 spaces! i havent had any hassle other than dirty looks!

Yeah if someone would scratch a car just because you've taken up two spots then they have serious issues and I feel sorry for them.

I always park as far as possible from the shops and so does Swmbo. But for some mad reason someone always parks next to us

Sometimes so close you can't figure out how they got out without resting their door on your car.

The ones that are so close are usually 2 door coupes so the doors are massive or people carriers

well looks like some people have vented some anger on here! haha!

I got the scratch out today a bit of cutting compound and hard work and its gone! :)

Seriously ****es me off when this sort of thing happens. I had it with my Corrado, some woman was walking about 20ft in front of me coming out of the supermarket. She happened to be parked next to me, and just rested her trolley against my car, shuffling it along to get it closer to her back door. When I stopped her doing it, she looked at me as if I was crazy for being so concerned about a car! Now I don't usually swear in front of women, but by god! Did she get some from me!!! Needless to say she got both barrels, and her details were swiftly taken and damage claimed for. But its the fact that if I hadn't been there, she probably would have carried on and done it the next time too!

now that really takes the p**s!

now not people not having respect but bus drivers not knowing the rules of the road! i was next to one like my bonnet stared at the cab where the driver sat at some traffic lights yesterday in a range rover so not hard to miss! but as they went green we both pulled away as normal then he just signaled and pulled across nearly squashing me between it and a post when i hit the brakes and hit the horn he called me a w****r then when i pulled up next to him (dual carriageway road through a town) put the window down had a shout and a few swear words (as Seanl said got both barrels!) he just looked at me shocked! wish i had not said anything and got the bus number and reported him it would have all been on camera! but doubt they would have done anything!

I once parked in 2 spaces, come out to find some bender parked mm from my door. I just park far away in one space now. Not much can be done about other peoples lack of respect, poor upbringing I guess.

Feel for you all. Some ball bag has creased my pass side rear door. Looks like its been nudged. No paint damage but cba to have it done as it will happen again.

Sent from "Ain't nobody got time for this"

I park in the middle of to spaces in car parks I don't care if they look at me like am a c#nt at least they ain't rubbing themselves against my car.

One of my mates watched a middle aged woman smack his car with her handbag when she got out of her car so he got her insurance details and because she was so worried about losing her no calaims she pay for the door to be repaired
