I am selling the car below and wanted to try on here first. I have had the car since January 2011 and have had just over 30,000 trouble free miles since. The reason for selling is that I’ve got the opportunity to purchase my farther-in-law’s 58 VRS Estate - I would not be selling otherwise!

I purchased the car in January 2011 from Carrs Skoda in Cornwall - where I used to live - and it had a major service and cam belt/water pump change at that time. It had been well looked after up until that time and the original (and only other) owner had added every extra possible to the L & K spec (e.g. auto, ESP, front parking sensors etc) so it’s a great example of its type. Thereafter, I have had it serviced at main Skoda dealers and have benefited from the extended approved used warranty so any work required, however minor, has always been done. I have just had it MOT’d (so it currently has more than 12 months MOT!) and the tax is until the end of January 2013.

Mark - some leather protector on the seats and I bet it'll be easier to look after than a dark cloth interior!

I had the same concerns about the durability of the leather when I first bought it but it has proved remarkably resilient (although tbh its only me in the car 99% of the time)!

I'll be sad to see it go but the opportunity to buy my father-in-law's VRS estate was just too tempting!

Now sold as deposit taken! Pleased to report that it appears to be going to a good home who will enjoy it as much as I have!
