Has anybody fitted a new hose over the standerd turbo?

I've got a major issue, the block is touching the turbo, there's a gap of about 2mm so ya phisically can't fit the hose over the turbo

Anyone else had this atall??

Nobody had this problem? Surley someone has fitted a samco over their turbo in place of the standerd one?

Im looking at doing this myself, but so far only have measurements i posted on your topic other day. What size pipe did you end up getting?

Just spoke to 3 different VAG specialists and they are assuring me that you can't fit a hose over the top of the turbo as it will never be a good enough seal due to all the ridges for the clip and the odd shape

So now what I need is either a new pipe or an adaptor that I belive you can pick up?

Can anyone help me on this adaptor that goes inside the turbo like the standerd hose?

Adapter is a metal reducer that i believe slots into turbo outlet.

Its the only metal coupler on the entire boost system thats designed to come off. Chech scrap yards all vag range vehicles 1.9tdi or should have this coupler even if pipe is different shape

What size is it please mine is alittle loose. I think there is 3 different sizes.
