performace cams? is it possible

Featured Replies

As title says, i know this can be done on most engines but is this possible with the engine being supercharged and turbo'd? I know cams can make a hell of a difference on some engines maybe a custom job but at the end of the day could this may just be a waste of time and money

A few of us had this discussion a week or so ago, not really any point on a boosted car as theres far better ways to get more power + it throws ideal out or something

Il have alook for the thread for you

Lots of development costs and time required to get it right. More than is worth the efort IMO.What you really need is an intercooler/radiator and decat downpipe....wander whos flogging taht lot lol

Only really worth it on n/a cars. Or if your replacing them any way there's companies that can replicate yours but lighter and stronger. Looking at 1500+ though for some proper ones

Aftermarket cams make a significant difference on pretty much every type of engine forced induction included but as said here are cheaper as easier modifications to do first
