Phonebook issue

Featured Replies

Hello,

Got a new phone. The Huawei G300. It pairs with the Columbus no problem but it won't download the phone book from the phone. I treied it from the Maxidot menu. Anyone got any ideas on what to to try next?

Brian

Once it's connected, go into phone settings on the Maxidot. There are various options for transferring numbers from the sim card, or from the phone , or both. Make sure these are set to transfer from both.

You beat me to it dippo.

I bought a Huawei G300 as my MY 2013 Superb wouldn't load the names from my ageing Motorola V525.

It paired with the G300 and loaded the names and numbers, but check the car's bluetooth settings as ditto has already said.

The G300 is a great phone BTW>

Gave it a try last night. Didn't find anything in the Maxidot about transferring from SIM or phone or both. Might be because I only have a GSM II connection. Played around a bit more and got the phonebook loaded in the end. Selected all the contact entries and sent them as a file to the Columbus over bluetooth.
