This is going to be very painful for me, but I need to sell my baby! I bought the bike just over a year ago. I travelled up to Stif Cycles to collect it in person and take it for it's virgin run on the local trails! It's an absolutely glorious bike. I've always wanted a Heckler and it was worth the wait. Unfortunately I just can't find the time to use the bike. I also keep it stored in my office, since I'm too scared to leave it in the garage!

When I first bought it I used it for about 4 months. Since the start of last winter I'm ashamed to say I haven't ridden it. So it's in excellent condition and someone will get a great deal here.

Full spec breakdown is as follows:

I paid £1,849 for it (I will give the buyer the original receipt and show ID to prove that I bought this and I'm not some thieving scrote!). I'll also provide a CD containing all manuals and documentation. Including CAD images, torque figures and bike review articles. If you need more photo's let me know.

There are some light scrapes down the downtube, which you might be able to see in some pics. Nothing bad. There are a couple of tiny nicks out of the left hand stanchion too. I've flatted these off very carefully with wet & dry, so there's no damage to seals and the forks perform as new. I'm a very anal Automotive Engineer, so the bike has been looked after incredibly well! You may notice my DIY chainstay protector too. It's made from an old green innertube, so the chainstay is mint underneath.

I'm looking for £1,500 £1,400 for the complete bike and I'll throw in a shock pump too. I can also throw in the original grips and rear tyre if needed.

You can sit on it in the garden, but I'm afraid no test rides unless you leave me with the full amount.

Haha yeah I know! It was quite a relief to get it sold. Makes you realise what good value cars are (or how much of a rip off bikes are!)

Sad to see it go as it was a lovely piece of engineering. But needed the money for house renovations and car bits.
