DRL's & MFD

Featured Replies

I do hope you've made a mistake with the wording of that or hope that you do not meet me coming the other way

Sorry mate,

It's a mistake of wording!I've meant low beam instead of high. Perhaps after replacement of the Fog lights and enabling of the "DRL via separate lights" tick box(VCDS),a desired goal could be achieve.

Which ,tick box it was?Was it VCDS diagnostics or something else?Do you remember?Because I've made several unsuccessful efforts to disable a rear and front side lights ,leaving high beams as a DRL only.

Sorry have no further information, as that's all the dealer told me.

Thanks for your prompt reply

After discussion with one of my friends owning the same as my Scout ,we figured out ,that the car must be fitted by LED Fog lights ,which could be used like both,a fog and DRL .Whilst at DRL mode the same is dimmed to 30%.Unfortunately my fog lights are just halogens and programmed as a DRL's running among the front and side lights
