Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is running Phatnoise with your standard head unit?

No but I'm pretty sure it'll work fine as the symphony CD changer worked with my VW Gamma HU and VW Sat Nav which is now running a phatbox.

If I had a normal HU I'd try it for you but the sat nav is a PITA to remove and refit.

Thanks Eddy. Its the new symphony in the Octy 2. Looks a bit different to the ones that I googled.

Hmmph, maybe a bit different then. But the phatbox works with Golf Mk5 HU's so there may still be hope.

The phatbox is cheap enough though and I doubt you'd have much trouble selling it on if needed.

I have just installed a Phatbox in a 2003 Octavia with Symphony head unit and it was fine, Just unplug CD changer and then plug in Phatbox, it even fits in the same brackets
