Somehow the two lighters have both been pushed in. Does anybody know how to retreive the lighter when there is no power? And no, the short circuit predates the pushing in;-)

try a hoover with a small attachment maybe? Or a valve grinding tool, like a sink plunger but smaller.

Worse case would be to superglue the end of something small like a match onto the lighter and pull out. U should be able to break off the match and clean off the top of the lighter when removed .
