Psi tuning map

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Well I finally got round to going for the map on my vrs and it's great. No boost surge which I was worried about and according to the dyno she now makes :

Power - 175bhp at the wheels

Fly power - 210bhp

Torque - 205lbft

Very happy with the service I had and not sure if the figures are optimistic but the drives great so not to bothered :-).

Torque is a little low perhaps? But 210bhp is good.

That's the torque peaking at 3000rpm, it drops off after that. Tbh this is my first turbo and first remap so I'm unsure of what figures are good other than what I've read on forums about power gains. Unfortunately I don't know the standard figures for torque.

If anyone has a printout of a standard run dyno I would be interested to see it.

respectable power output for standard car and just a map, tho as stated, torque does seem a little low compared with other maps, would expect around 220-230lbft, but if it drives good and your happy who cares?!

standard figures are 180bhp and 173lbft

Had mine done at psi in stoke today stage 2 on my vrs with plenty of mods it's made 230bhp flywheel (190wheels) and 240lbft peak just past 4000rpm ? although I think the dog bone needs uprating lol

Nice.....I wish I could justify the expense of that. Bet it feels rapid now :-)

It does :) got a gd price though only charged me another £50 for the stage 2 ! Will be using them again for only mods after I've paid the card off lol

for stock plus a map power on yours sounds very healthy :) ITG PANEL FILTER?

mates 223 and a bit bhp and 269lb ft on stage 1.5
