Bottom half of the page m8 ^^ they do look sweet tho ;-).. doubt there are only 4 sets tho bud.. the word "rare" in terms of wheels is over used

I ain't too knowledgeable when it comes to et's or J's so can someone recommend a set up for the borbet A's?

I want them to fit comfortable and look good, but I am also not looking for extreme stance. Ideally a safe place been between looks and usability, as i like to have people in the back of the car and don't want rubbing to ensue.

So keeping this in mind, what I am looking from you is you're recommendation on:

  • Drop in height from standard
  • What et / J Front wheels
  • What et / J Back wheels
  • Alloy size

Again, I can't stress enough that I need you to take into consideration passengers in the back.

Honest opinion, you won't pull em off without decking the car and having wide fitments ect.

but, id say. . . with the info you've given. . .

fronts 7.5j et35

rears 8.0j et30 or 25

195/40/17 or 195/45/16 depending what size rim ya go with. .

and lowering, fit coils run em a month or so around standard height till there bedded in. . then wind em down, with some friends on hand to load the car up and check ur clearances n gauge it that way.

:-) hope this helps a bit.

Coilovers.. adjusted to whatever height suits you

16 or 17 inch wheels (borbet A's are 16" 2 my knowledge but 17s are better if u dont wana go 2 low or have a massive arch to tyre gap..)

7j or 7.5j fronts

et needs to be no less than et20 + no more than et35

Rears

7.5, 8.0 or 8.5 with et not lower than et15 no higher than et40

Also tyres need to be not too big (all depends on the width of the wheels u go for)

The only problem I have with coilovers is the harsh as hell ride. I know not all coilovers are the same and some are relatively good, but my previous experience with them have put me off them (Let's just say, I would have had better dampening from solid cylinders of steel, they caused you to come off your seat and hit your head of the roof of the car.) Again however I don't want to look like I am driving a monster truck, so I will have to look into a decent set of coilovers.

Thanks for the advice on fitment, I believe Borbet's come in 7.5 x 16 and 9.0 x 16, so may actually have to look into another set of wheels.

I've got weitec hicon gt's n i don't think there harsh at all. . did 504mile in one day once n dint get loose teeth or owt haha,my mates even said before as a passenger "i forgot this is on coilis" haha :-). .

could always get the borbets 7.5 all round and space the rears just to add a better look.

:-)
