Hello all, i have spent a few hours today planning out my own minor service, although its not due one until after Christmas, i dont know how well the car has been treated before me.

Yes its not a Skoda, but my engine looks very very similair, at least the filter housings and locations are spot on

Might be handy for those not so handy with a spanner but who have a willing tendency to do your own servicing.

Concerning the oil & filter change, I would pull the drain plug first, and then do the filter while the sump is draining.
