VRS Cruise & Bluetooth retrofit?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just bought a new VRS for the mrs and it doesn't have cruise or bluetooth, which she wants. Can anyone point me in the right direction in the Yorkshire area?

What kind of cost will i be looking at?

Thanks in advance. :-)

Fabia I and Fabia II CC systems aren't the same.

With regards to CC Skoda do a kit for post 2010 MY cars, it's £180 plus fitting.

Search on here for Bluetooth fit. Me and a few others have retro fit original vw Bluetooth modules, microphone and wiring ourselves.

Dealers can retrofit cruise but I think they can only do it for models with the maxi dot dash & this will need an ecu update

They can also retrofit parking sensors but these are not the same as the factory fit option & won't give you a proximity display on the dash/head unit the retrofit sensors will only give you the warning beeps

Yep - Bluetooth was a nice easy job (took an hour or so). 2nd hand module off fleabay (spent 5 minutes erasing the old paired phones....) £75 and cables were another £50. Get the whole lot from the guy in Poland for about €200 to save any hassle...he didn't have any stock when I was after mine, thats all - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/237845-swing-and-bluetooth/
