312mm Front brake set up

Featured Replies

Just taken collection of a 312mm front brake set up from a mk1 octavia vrs but ive decided to sell/ swap them as i have more important things to do.

Calipers and carriers are in good condition, paint looks ok on inspection, discs have surface rust and a small lip on them, they wont fail a mot and would do for an adequate amount of time, pads have plenty of life left!

I have pics on my phone so can email or text them.

Ive seen these sets go for £200+ but i would be after £170 delivered, or a swap for good springs (eibachs preferably) plus cash my way or good condition coilovers.

Thanks for looking

I'd be (very) interested if these will go onto a pre-FL mark II Octavia.

Edit - reading around (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/226191-312mm-brakes/) looks like the mk I and mk II 312mm setup are different; shame, looks like I'll have to pass on this one.

Can someone confirm if these will fit mk2 octavia?

Nope they wont.

Bugger lowering it.

Get them on the car. Totally different car after you do the brake. Std stuff is propper rubbish and unsafe lol. Didnt like tham at all but now all is well.

Just my 2p worth

Fitted some 312mms on mine last night! Brilliant mod and a lot better than standard!

Just cleaned these up and had a good inspection!

Calipers are in brilliant condition, bleed nipples move freely, paints 99% intact.

Pads are basically brand new.

Discs are in better condition than i was told, barely a lip on them and its just a surface rust!

I put these up waaaayyy to cheap!

Post a pic up Trev. Might stoke up some interest!
