New SE plus 1.6d

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking at the SE plus as a new company car, could anyone confirm the following?

is it worth getting an estate over the saloon as there doesn't seem to be much difference in boot size?

what is crystal upholstery?

Both the estate and hatchback are identical in length. So all you really gain with the estate is a little height over the hatchbacks boot.

Personally I think the estate looks better.

With my rear seats down its like a cavern in the back. Octavias are more roomy than you'd think.

The Octavia estate boot is bigger than the Audi A6's!

Never heard of crystal, the latest brochure has Oynx down for the SE Plus but it looks different to all the other pictures of Oynx so I'm guessing it is a mistake in the brochure and this is in fact the crystal seat pattern:

Me I'd get the Combi (estate) looks better and it's like to a tardis.

We run both an estate and a hatchback octavia, to be honest when I come to replace the estate, i am going for a hatch as the boot on the hatch is just as big and useable as the estate. Only annoyance with the hatch is forgetting to lift the door carefully when it has been raining, do it too quickly and it dumps the water in the boot.

Thanks for the replys, IM pretty sure it will be the SE plus with climate control, I really like the superb estate but it looks too big unfortunately.

I too have both an estate and a hatch and favour the boot on the estate, purely down to the retractable load cover.

The fixed part of the parcel shelf on the hatch can make it difficult to move large items if it isn't removed first.

No biggie, just my personal preference.

S spec Superb twindoor?

About the same money as Octy estate and bags more room
