Linky please, to page 49 not the forum

Nah, similar but not same review.

Magazine is normally different but they still slated it.

Seems to have fallen down mostly on the handling, but then this was never going to be an EVO car...

Top Gear Magazine liked it.

It's the wrong car for EVO to be reviewing, to be honest. It's like WhatCar? reviewing the new Ferrari... completely the wrong audience.

Its still a review..All magazines will have their own version

What have other reviews said?

All positive?

Is this the first bad one?

If so, Its only giving balance

Personally..I dont like it at all..Everyone to their own!!

Sorry but they loved the yeti.

You can't have your skoda cake and eat it.

Used to subscribe to EVO but got bored with the limited "performance" type of cars getting reviewed. Im interested in all cars not just "evo" type cars. Surprised they tested it as the Rapid is a budget car pure and simple, skoda even admit this. Budget therefore means comprimises are made to keep costs low. A good performance car generally wont excell when built to a tight budget.

If you are in the market for a Rapid i doubt you will give two hoots about how the handling is on the limit. To be honest i couldnt give two hoots how the handling is at the limit in my VRS as very rarely if ever would i drive at the limit on the road. If you drive at the edge of the cars limit on the road you really shouldnt be on the road to be honest. 7/10ths is ample for most situations round the bends with plenty of welly in the straight bits.

If the missus needs a new car in a few years and i need to change mine also then a cheap car like the Rapid may well be on my list and i certainly wont base my choice on performance credentials and certainly wouldnt look to EVO for a realistic opinion.
