Has anyone seen one of these for real yet?

I drove past one today coming out of Sunderland and I nearly crashed the car, I was totally blinded by its ugliness!!

What on earth were they thinking??

Only seen the advert but thought it looked okay

seen one on the road, thought it looked decent. certainly better than the old new Beetle

Seen 2, one black and one silver, look very nice but not sure how they will sell considering its a buglier Shirocco!

I quite like them, they help to create the Porsche look...

I never thought enough of the damn things were sold to keep VW making them.

My Old Man doesn't understand the fascination with Beetles. He had 3 of the originals and thought they were crap.

It does beg they question as to why he had 3 of them.

So changing the light treatment justifies calling it a "new car" then?

Saw a fair amount driving around in the EU and a couple over here. I do think they look OK, certainly better than the old new Beetle. Wouldn't buy one though!
