Skoda Assist?

Featured Replies

Has anyone got an information on Skoda assist? I bought my used VRS from a Skoda dealership 6 months ago and the car is now 2 years old. Does this mean I have Skoda assist as the car is less than 3 years old and still within warranty?

Nothing was explained to me at the dealership about such a service as Skoda assist and was just wondering if I should get break down cover just in case or if I'm covered.

Any info much appreciated.

i would say yes but ask your dealer..

bill

I bought mine new and its 19 months old. I beleive (although could be wrong) that Skoda's come with 3 year warranty and 3 year Skoda assist as part of the package and both should be with the car irrespective if new owners or not.

However this could have changed in the last 19 months ? Hopefully a definative answer will follow from others.

yes, you are covered until the car is 3 years old :)

Well i brought a 18month old month. 2 weeks ago, the sales guy explained it in detail.

Simply skodas have 3yr warranty

First 2yrs unlimited millage, 3rd year is a Max 60kmiles

During this period you have access to skoda assisit (RAC) providing ur call full in warranty conditions as stated, i also believe, it can be used in europe, if you have a book pack it should be in there :)

Handy to know as at current rates, i'll be over my 60k before the end of the 2nd year....

By my calculations il hit 60k before my 3years up which is gutting.

But during my time at a Skoda the fabias didnt tend to have many issues from my memory,

The mail ones that stuck in my wind was window control units, but never anything on the running gear which is kind of encouraging

Some im not overly concered at using my warranty up early, but the long i hold on it the better.

What i would say is, keep loyol to skoda with servicing and repairs if possible, as manufactuers look favorably on this and could be a chance of getting good will contributions should any issue arise out side of the the terms of warranty.

Mine will be dealer serviced - although on longlife servicing, I hope to only see them probably 3 times..

Yes 3 years or 60k miles or which comes first

Thanks for all the replies guys. Very helpful. Ill dig out the procedure online so I know what to do if I ever need them. Touch wood I don't!

According to the small print its 3 yrs, no mileage limit. Unless I missed it ?

The warranty is only 60k after 2 yrs but the assist is 3 regardless

Im sure the assiat works in tandem with the warranty,

Confirmed by dealer and skoda assist. 3 yrs unlimited for skoda assistance

Year three does not cover the cost of repairs in mainland Europe, you have to pay the dealer and claim back the cost from Skoda UK

The assist still applies however

Regards all
