A post aimed at everyone who might be thinking of getting a decat pipe fitted.

I had one done at the weekend at a place called BCS automotive in Haydock…completely custom made to fit etc welds are excellent, made from a larger diameter pipe so the pipe is effectively the same as the miltek equivilent...

Got talking to him about here and how other people might be interested….he said that if anyone is wanting them on here that he's game for setting up a group buy on here.

so yeah just thought id put it out there incase people are wanting a decat il put a pic with it so you can have a look

he didn't say a price to me for the group buy as mine was the first one that he did and built a jig and everything using mine…was there for a fair few hours…he did say however that it would be cheaper than the miltek and thats priced at 170 not fitted so it will be good value for money!

feels a bit faster, mines remapped though, but even without a map you would feel a performance game. sounds more jet like because you get more turbo noise and no engine light because theres no lambda sensor after the cat

I paid £150 for it fitted… obviously i helped with development of it with him so im not sure on price exactly…he said just to call if there is interest. it wont be more than that maybe less with a group buy!

That's a cheap price! I'm getting the rest of my cat back made up (from mufflerectomy) and a down pipe with a fake cat and a silencer for £180

i will have 1 of these.. may even ring them monday to see if they can fit me in this week!

did he give you your old cat back to take away with you??

just ordered mine.. got to pick it up at the end of the week, it was £168 or £198 fitted, as my car will be on the ramp stripped most of the week am just going to put it on myself!

im sure you wont be disappointed, quality is excellent, let me know what you think when you get it on
