Please can someone advise how artist and title details can be made to appear on the columbus system?

I have checked the handbook and also have disabled and re-enabled the artist track detaisl tick box on the set up page, but still no good, I know for a fact that the CD's are encrypted with these details as they used to show in my civic.

Any help would be really appriciated, as the 6 CD changer looks all too similar when all tracks and titles are not showing!!!

I think that the cd itself has to have the feature included when it's burned

Not sure all older cd's do?

These are a mixture and the details used to show on my civic, and they show on CD players at home.

Not all CDs contain CD text information...not just older CDs but some brand new ones which I find strange and irritating. Anyway, it doesn't matter any more as my collection is on a 32GB SD card and that displays everything I need.

So from this I take it that no one else has this issue? Seems strange that the same cd shows artist and title details on the cd player at home and in the civic but not in the superb?

I think you'll probably find that most people don't use CDs. When I got my car, I just loaded all my CDs onto an SD card, and I haven't put a CD in the car since then.

The 6-disc changer I have won't read 'CD Text'!

But the Columbus does.

It's down to the CD having the right 'CD Text' data written to it and the CD drive being able to read it.

Sadly few can!
