Filler cap release dosent work, any solutions?

Featured Replies

I have to hook my foot under it and lean round and flick it open, people in the petrol station must think Ime special.

It's a cable release from the catch to the filler cap. Most likely place for it to come off is by the cap. If you open the boot and peel back the inside of the trim around the wheelarch, you'll be able to spot the cable run. Usually just needs re-locating back into the mechanism.
