Also the fact that the next reg is 13

dvla are allowing people to have a 62 reg still up until 63 comes out for those people who are superstitious so its a model 13 year vin number so

I took my corsa in Feb 2008 as a 57 plate

Does anyone known if the m&s vouchers for delayed cars is real ?? Or a internet rumor

i read that

18;weeks is £150

36 weeks £300

If its real is that build delay or until time when car is ready to collect

Just had a call its now in transit

Good news, i pleased for you!

Things are looking good thus far

Car is enroute to Emden Germany

Weser highway ship is enrroute from Grimsby to Emden due to dock tomorrow at 15:00 hours

Hopefully it will not load and depart before my car arrives

Good to hear, malcster!

It's worth it mate

On the M&S voucher front, I contacted the dealer and SkodaUK. They both told me I would receive £300 M&S vouchers; and I duly got two £150 gift cards just befpre Christmas 2011. I ordered a Yeti 170 Elegance on 26th February that year and received it 26th October, 6 days earlier than I wanted it ~ but I didn't tell them that!

Good luck Malcster; enjoy the car and make a tiny fuss about the vouchers/gift cards. I did and it worked.

I'm just not sure if the clocks starts at order point or from the initial 8-12 weeks has elapsed

Finally, malcster!

You'll enjoy it I'm sure.

Hi Malcster

Any update on delivery ??

Track my Skoda says sitting at German docks ready for shipping

Although the day it updated the Weser highway docked and loaded

It arrived in Grimsby on the 21st

Main highway docked on Christmas day at Emden so if I missed the Weser it should load on to main highway

Aiming for mid January delivery To me

Problem with track my Skoda its updated at dealer as opposed to the importer like the vw tracker

do we have to ring Skoda UK up about the vouchers?

just been reading this thread we have a confirmed build week of week 3 which takes us up to 19 weeks waiting.........

plus the 3 to six weeks waiting for it so maybe 21 to 24 weeks

we ordered the elegance greenline in white with the panoramic roof........

I'm not sure tbh

Not even sure if this only kicks in after your initial 8-12 week window has elapsed

I ordered mine week 28 and was expected week 36-38 now it looks like week 3 so that is 27 weeks or is it 15 ????

I'll ask the dealers and make out Skoda UK advised me to speak to them first then if no joy go to Skoda and say the opposite

Just be glad when I get the keys

How long would it be fron order to collection?

How come its taken so long?

Ordered 27th July

Numerous reasons/ theories why it was delayed

Well enjoy, im sure you will :)

I have to say you don't look very happy...

I would be inclined to agree, especially if they are both on a 62 plate.

A week or three for the new reg in Mar/Sept I'd wait for though...

Yes i agree with that, and ok perhaps it would be only £200 not £300 if you waited till 2013 instead of 2012,however i am speaking from experience,as many years ago in the 70s i bought a used MGB which the first owner had registered in December. When i sold it after 2 years, all the dealers priced it as a dec 69 car not a Jan 70 even though there was only 2 weeks in it.They all said it would have been worth lots more if it had been registered in Jan. Of course that could have just been excuse number 240 in the Arthur Daley good salesman book, which today i am a fully aware member of,but i would still never register a car in Dec.

Picking car up now

Can confirm new steering wheel is fitted

Got home

Meguairs hyper wash

Gold class shampoo

Iron x

Clay

Gold glass meguairs polish

Carnuba meguiars

Remove each wheel in turn and wax inside

And out side

Hard to believe the amount of crap in the paint in the clay

Glass like finish now

Tyres and glass to do

Please get some pictures of it up! :D I can't believe you've had to waited 6 months for it! I wouldn't be able to wait two!

I am depressed now after reading through this thread. I have a VW Up ASG on order, and the thought of waiting that long makes me suicidal. Any CityGo ASG owners had a long wait (or still waiting)?
