Hello guys,

need to replace the front bumper reinforcement code 3U0807109A for my 2007 Superb 3U 1.9TDI PD (BPZ) and I got the reply from one of the on-line shops that I can use the 3B0807109A part from a 3B3 Passat.

Before buying it I want to be sure these 2 codes point to the same part but used on different cars.

What do you think , are these equivalent ?

Yes. As you can see, the ending of the code is same. Only difference is that 3U is for supeb and 3B for Passat.

If you would see the original Superb reinforcement, then I can bet you can read out the part nr for Passat.

3B is B5 Passat - '97 to '01

More likely to be 3BG, which is the B5.5 Facelift (post 2001)
