A question from a "thickie"

Featured Replies

Just got the car. To get the map to show on the Columbus I am pushing the "on" button, the radio starts and I can then push map to see the map screen. The only way I have found to surpress the sound from the radio is to turn the volume all the way down (silence!). Can you turn the radio off but still see the Sat Nav? If must be possible otherwise the radio is always working in the background but without any sound. Am I really having a senior moment? Should I be put down?

thanks

Hi,

As far as I'm aware its just a case of turning the radio down should you not want to listen to it whilst having the map up.

Odd isn't it. In my other car they operate separately, at least I'm not losing my grip on reality.

or switch to media - aux in. providing nothing is connected to it.
