No Aux with Skoda Bolero

Featured Replies

Hi Gents,

Hoping for some friendly advice here. I've changed the Stream H/U in my 2008 Octavia estate for a Bolero from a 2011 Octavia. Was very pleased with myself until I realized that the Bolero won't play from the Aux input in my armrest. It won't let me do it from the setup menu either (all options greyed out). I've trawled through most of the posts on the website relating to this issue but haven't found a definitive solution. Is it a coding issue? Is my Can gateway too old? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I seem to remember this was a case of swapping a couple of cables round on the connector on the back...

This may be your issue, but if not, then I'm afraid I can't really help

Thanks for your help guys. RainbowFire I've had a look at your link; many thanks. I hope the most likely solution is buying a new connector and rewiring. This may sound like a stupid question but I'm assuming these refer to the fusebox?

Nope just realized its probably the back of the H/U connector. This part number 3B7035447B is it a Skoda or VW part number? Don't want to look like a numpty at the dealer.
