Looking to buy my first Skoda very soon.

It will be new from a dealer, but I can't make my mind up which model.

I'll be giving my current car to my daughter who has just passed her driving test.

Can't buy the car yet, have to wait a few months (January).

I hope the no VAT offer still holds out although I'm considering placing the order with a deposit as it appears nearly all the new Skoda's have about a two to three month delivery.

Looking at one of the following

Fabia Estate 1.6 105ps diesel

Fabia Vrs Estate 1.4 TSI 180 PS petrol

Possibly the new Rapid - but alot depends on the actual dimensions, if its not as big as the Octavia then it might be another option.

Fabia 1.6 diesel estate is a nice car, I'm not a fan of the Rapid but good luck with whatever you decide to go for :yes:

If it was me i would VRs all the way.

Welcome to the forum.

Interesting choice, but it comes down to what you use the car for.

If you don't need the performance of the VRS the 105 diesel is a good car that makes a lot of sense if you do quite a few miles every year.
