Oil in turbo pipes

Featured Replies

Hi all ive always noticed oil seeping from my egr valve but the turbo pipe what comes from it i keep noticing where the rubber pipe meets tge plastic on it keeps coming away from each other like not flush also im noticing alot of oil in the pipes. When i brought the car it was on 104k and now on 110k but it had a new turbo at 99k so not sure if the oil is from the old turbo or is there ment to be abit anyway ??

There will always be a small amount, had the same with my PD Octavia when the pipes were disconnected to get access to the cambelt. As long as its not loads then I would not worry.

This is why people re-plumb their crankcase ventilation systems to use catch cans. For more info, see the speed shops in Site Sponsors.
