Yo!

Right, this one feels a little odd to me. Ever since I've have the car, the Aux port has been noisy, but not in the normal way. With nothing plugged in and the volume turned right up.......silence, With a cable plugged in (just a standard 3.5mm cable, no device attached) I get noise and interference. With a device on the end (SGSII or DAB unit) the interference vanishes when there's music, but returns on the gaps between tracks.

This happened with both the original Stream MP3 and the retro-fit Bolero. Seems odd that even just plugging a cable in (have tried two, just in case) should produce interference.

Any ideas? (Doesn't feel like the usual "swap grounding pins" thing, as it happened with the original HU)

Hi would it not be the normal interference noise you get for plugging something into an amplifier? with nothing on the other end i usually get noise until something is connected

Oddly, with the RCD310 DAB installed, no noise at all. :S
