LCR brakes - what lines to use

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Gathering the parts for my LCR Brembo's (only had the calipers for a while).

So have the carriers and all bolts needed, will get the backplates soon but just want to know what brake lines to use.

Will braided LCR ones do? (Like such - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Leon-Cupra-R-225HP-Goodridge-Braided-Brake-Lines-/200725089782?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ebc25cdf6#ht_500wt_1054 )

Also, attached is a pic of one of mine - is there something missing from where the fluid lines go in?

There doesn't appear to be any sort of hole for the fluid to go in!

As always any help is appreciated.

Looks like thats a plug in it.

I jus ues std lcr hoses from tps.

Look in my thread in my sig n there should be some pics of the callipers there.

There should also be a solid L shaped pipe off the calliper to the metal bracket on the carrier. Then jus use flex hose to the car.

Not seen those L shaped pipes before

Look like a good idea

All the after market brakes lines I've used come out of the caliper at right angles

Cheers lads - would the whole LCR line be OK or should I go for the LCR solid line and get braided lines to go with them?

Imo that solid pipe is a must.things are movingbck there and that makes sure its all out the way and then flex pipe from top.

Cant remember the price but wasnt too much really

Anyone wanting thia setup get on edtn38 there was a set there but you need to register to see classifieds.
