Okay, so I really want to go for the MkIV Golf aero wipers and arms, but I'm not sure about the rears on the Octavia Estate.

Can anybody confirm if the arm/blade are any different in length to the saloon versions...

I don't want to go fitting something that won't line up properly.

I have the Polo one. One of the first mods I did

6Q6 955 707A - arm

6Q6 955 435A - cap

6Q6 955 425A - blade

Gotta be an essential mod. I tried replacing the blade on mine, but it just doesn't make contact at the top of the sweep under the high level brake light. Hopeless.

I've got a Polo blade and cap with a Touran arm (1T0 955 707 A). Can't remember why I got a Touran arm instead of a Polo one now.

Hmm, apart from the prefix, the part number is the same. They might just be identical anyway...?

I think the Touran arm is a bit longer than the Polo one.

Rob, does your polo cap have a bit slot in it for arm washers? TPS changed my order to 435B, but then have changed it again to 435D, and the cap has a horrible ugly slot in it, just right for filling up with water on crappy days. I'm not amused, to say the least. Will be phoning them to see what they say first.

I've got the Touran arm and fitted a cap from a MkII Octy, supplied by the local dealer. The Octy cap doesn't have the cut out that the VW caps have - looks much tidier.

Yep the aero certainly cures that straight away. Although to be fair, a new normal blade probably would, but I don't wanna be out of balance, ya know!

Done the new blade bit more than once but the part-wipe problem persists ...

Right guys I just got an Octavia Mk2 aero Cap, Part number 1Z5 955 435A From Bickerton Skoda. Google it on images, it comes up and you can buy it from the page I believe. Only a couple of quid. No hole for the squirty thing that isnt there.
