Guys i have a 2005 Fabia VRS, regarding the EGR delete what size do i go for?

I think i have an ASZ engine?

51mm or 57mm, need to make sure LOL

Have a search about, but I believe the 51mm kit will be easier to get connected up. I personally didn't do the full delete as I wanted to retain the ASV.

51 mm is a nice fit on the standard hose

So the egr delete gets rid of the ASV, what is the problem in leaving in the ASV? In all honesty I'm just interested in performance (i know not outright) and stop the caking up of other components.

Anti shudder valve, makes the engine shut off smoothly. I believe it's quite annoying without the ASV, going by what some have said.

When my EGR diaphragm gave up the ghost I had the warning deleted as part of a remap. I'm assuming that the EGR will not be working as the diaphragm link opens the exhaust inlet (true?). The ASR works as usual. If this is so, then people deleting the warning could stop the EGR working by making a hole in the diaphragm which would be cheaper than buying extra bits. Have I missed something?

it would be easier just to disconnect the vac pipe to the EGR, instead of breaking the diaphragm. This way you could always reconnect it should you want to put it back to standard.
