Monty on order 10/12 week lead time. Sprint yellow, maxidot, red int. 1.2 TSI (86)ps was going for 1.2 TSI (105) but cannot justify £700 price

Great choice,still getting used to ours but it is fun to drive,would have liked the maxidot but ours was a cancelled order,did come with cruse control which I did not pay for because we did not need it, so the dealer never chaged for it.

From what a lot of said the real world difference between the 86 and 105 are minimal anyway.

I find the 86 has more then enough poke

Might get cruise control £145 and a spare wheel £54 (space saver)

Sorry to jump on this thread but does anyone know if the monte front spoiler is protected underneath? I picked up my monte last week and my drive has a dip in and I had a slight scrape. I'm just wondering if the bottom part at the front is there to protect the metallic paint from such scrapes? Any advice gladly accepted

Do you mean the black lip to the splitter?

I'll have a look later, but it's not that low - that's a big dip on your drive!

Thanks, yes it's quite a dip so I'm gonna try coming out at an angle. I just wondered if there was something under the front that protects the car from such scrapes. It was only a slight scrape but it's new so I was a bit gutted!

Its jus a spoiler not anti scrape thing.

Altho as said its not overly low so if your concerned you must have some major dip lol

Just got of the phone from eventually placing our order after quite some shopping around;

Monte 1.2TSI 86PS

White with red interior

Options:- ESP plus, Cruise control and Headlamp washers.

Will be replacing my wife's Sept 2010 Fabia Elegance 1.2TSI 85, hopefully in January.

Would have liked the idea of getting a new Rapid but decided it was to long to fit our short drive space for one thing and potentially pricey; initially anyway.

Oh also had a long debate regard the colour choice; both liked the red but went with the white, as so far our white Yeti has proved easier to look after i.e. less polishing etc. than the red Yeti before and neither of us have much time or inclination for car cleaning these days other than the basics with a bucket of car shampoo and a wash mit.
