Hi, just clearing through some stuff as i need the space.

I have a set of gas struts for use with an Octavia bonnet. These are originally MK3 golf gti struts and they hold the weight of the bonnet easily.....even one works but two is ideal with the weight. These have been bent slghtly at the end to fit in to the bonnet screw hole.

I had them on my car but i didnt like them due to the bolting in to the wing. I think other people have used a larger washer to distribute the weight of them. I just reverted back to the standard stand as i dont open the bonnet that often.

All parts are there to fit.

I also have for sale my old engine cover. This has been cut to accomodate the intercooler pipes. This is perfect for anyone who wants to spray one up. I did mine in gloss black and now looks much better under the bonnet.
