my best mate has it, hes wanting to sell if interested??

hes just had standard suspension fitted as the coilovers were shot, new pads all round, new maf sensor, drop links, ball joints, only had it a few month bought it off phil a few month back, he loves the car but he only uses it to go a mile to work n a mile back n rarely used on a weekend, nothing wrong with it he just thinks its wasted not being used and after a cheap banger, ring 07526155046 if you have any questions or ask on here, hes in halifax west yorkshire

cheers

This car must have 20 owners by now!

Theres was a fuel supply issue with it. Was this sorted?

doesnt seem to have a fuel problem just a central locking problem thats getting fixed tomorrow, it genuinely is too quick for mist roads its silly!

250bhp vs standard suspension...

Hmm new owner not that fussed about spending on it then... wonder what else could be wrong now?

t spark straight on the judgein panel like most people, no hes just passed his test n the roads round here are ****e so changed to standard, he doesnt drive it like it should be as you can imagine passin your test straight to 256 bhp lol the front drivers shockers needs a new seal kit on it, he wants to swap for a standard fabia vrs or reasonable, ie stage 1

Yup, I judged that someone who buys a performance modded car should keep it at that high level standard and not skimp on parts, servicing and god knows what else because they either A) Cant actually afford to run it as it should be. Or B) Doesnt understand the need for uprated parts on an uprated car or C) Couldnt be arsed to spend any money on it and in turn skimp on parts.

Don't mean to judge.. but I imagine he hasn't declared any of the modifications on the insurance then.. as he has just passed the premium and excess will be huge on that spec!

Jesus. Mines full hybrid, mods declared, 5 years ncb, ten years driving and was 600 quid. Would hate to think what it is just after passing test

Sent from my GT-N7000

its such a shame to read this as ive built the car upto a very good standard with the best parts to have it wasted and abused, there loss i suppose

Which is why I will never sell my Ibiza of a similar spec... sorry fella (I know its not my fault but feel your pain)

You could always buy it and get it back up to spec !!

I sold my hybrid fabia fully specced up with supporting mods such as brembos and kw coils

The new owner preceeded to part strip it

And put stock suspension and brakes on and left it with everything else on!

Such a shame!

Fortunately it then found its self in the hands of a decent enthusiast and its back to what it should have been

That must be sickening - obviously bought it to make some money rather than enjoy it!!

Wouldn't dream of stripping mine as all the upgrades compliment each other - what is the point of having a fast car if it doesn't have the handling and braking too!

you cant go over 20 mph with a lowered car round here, it may aswell be 20 bhp but sounds like alot of you bellends know everything, hes changed the suspension how is that strippin it? if you dont want it dont be jealous and comment on it

Nice attitude buddy..

yes perhaps not quite stripping it.. but standard vrs suspension isn't suitable for 256bhp car.. that is a fact.. although its not your problem and as its not your car.. and if the suspension was shot then perhaps its okay for selling it on instead of spending loads more on new suspension.. which is fair enough!

And.. this isn't your thread so unless the MOD's wanna lock it then anyone can and will comment on it.. Sorry mate!

one more thing.. if your buddy wants to sell it then get him to join here and pay the 'freedom' subscription, I'm sure there's bound to be some guys on here interested in it.
