Featured Replies

I am wanting to upgrade my Vrs octavia .. it is already 'superchipped' but am thinking of going to revo or jabba

which is the better way to go??

btw

i have a induction kit fitted and a millteck exhaust .... (poss thinking of upgrading intercooler )

thanks

Si

Custom Code should be added to your list as an option. Those who have it swear by it. Another would be APR.

If it was my choice, I'd either go Custom Code or Jabba, purely because they are mapped to your car and your modifications, although the APR V-Tune can be as well (but you do the mapping).

Well Si, you know how that estate went... ;)

That was the "95" program from apr. With optimax you can add another 10%...now thats all 3 bar, you can get (from a few tuners) a 4bar (fuel reg is 58 quid maybe less for those fortunate enough ;) ) now add that to a map from Revo, Custom Code, Jabba and others then you can see a larger gain.

As a rough guide and it is rough, the APR in my view is streets ahead of the superchip. Ok with my mods I rolled 208 on the 95 Program, nothing electric. A similar car but running a revo 4 bar rolled 232 IIRC same day about 20 mins apart.

That is a huge hike and a good kick.

After that well, fmic and turbo to be honest and thats then very

I'd be really interested in your thoughts on the Superchip. I had one but Revo was in a whole different league. Saying that I know Jon had Superchips and thought it was rather good, I've also read many good reviews on other sites. I can only put it down to different dealers

Re: your uncertainty. No experience of Jabba's tuning but 4 bar Revo is truely excellent.

On the other hand Custom Code Phase 1 is something else. In a way, you wouldn't know Revo was lacking until you have Custom Code

I have the Revo 4 bar program and can't recommend it enough! I would like to give the custom code (2) a try out but I can't justify the
