Dented drivers doorcard

Featured Replies

Ok, so I'm clearly unable not to lean my elbow on the top of the door card - its starting to split now.

Are they hugely expensive and if so, has anyone sussed how to repair them?

I looked into replacing the Drivers Door card on my Ex Vrs for the same reason.

New Door card, from dealer, including the Silver trim only, every think else needs swopping over. ( hope your sat down )

£380

Vrs door cards are rare. More chance getting hens teeth,

Thankfully I find mine uncomfortable if I rest my elbow on it so when I do it, without thinking, I only stay in that position for a few seconds.

Does seem to be a bit of naff design that you can't rest your elbow on it if it's comfortable there without damaging the thing.

OMG - that is bonkers!!!!

I will report back if I can find a place to repair it as I know a very good car upholsterer.

Now I have a Vrs with DSG I tend to lead on the centre arm rest.

I have a dent in the very top just under the window but its at a very odd position for an elbow, must have been someone very short that had the car before me.

Maybe a dwarf?

I think perhaps I'll invest £100 in seeing a hypnotherapist.

Thanks - the first link doesn't seem to work though?

Erh!!!

- as well as the interior being wet through, it was covered in blood stains.

You wouldn't think that it could be offered for sale if it had blood on! :-(

Well, the other co is selling as while as a cat B.

So, I'm teaching myself not to lean on the doorcard!
