Nano technology on your windscreen...

Featured Replies

Heavy rain and no need to use your windscreen wipers - even at city speeds. Does that sound interesting?

Technology can help make driving safer - and more fun for the 'gadget' lovers :)

I came across nano treatment when browsing some car accessory sites / webstores and ended up buying some Nanolex Ultra Glass Sealant.

Nanolex have nano-products for more than just the glass but

and compare it to your windscreen when driving on the highway.

It works from just 40kmh (around 25mph) - so from normal city speeds.

shows the result of a halt treated / half 'normal' windscreen where mud is added to the water thrown at the windscreen. Very impressive stuff.

Yes, lots of alternatives.

I've used RainX.

Works well IMO.

Looks like it works better than rainx:

Rainx is fine until it starts wearing out then its pants like the nano stuff tho

yep, need to re-apply rainx about once a month or so depending on weather to keep it up to scratch

The best out there is GTechnik G1 closely followed by GTechnik G5

Claims that they clear rain at speeds lower than 30 mph are exaggerated and quite simply rubbish

BTW..RainX..is OK ..ish but is Chalk and Cheese compared to G1

True.

I do it as part of washing the car.

...up to 12 months wth G1

Nanolex Ultra is rated to last up to 18 months - but it wasn't ment as a competition :)

Nanolex Urban works at speeds higher than 35kmh - better than the Ultra but less durable.

Nothing rubbish about it - just technology.

30ml Ultra

100ml premium glass cleaner

100ml premium glass polish

1 microfiber cloth

3 cotton applicators

1 shipping

total of 54 Euros

Enough for 2 maybe 3 applications of 18 months each - if it works as advertised. Seems cheap to me.

Are you on commission?

No, just wanted to share my findings with you. This must be a new product to someone in here.

Thanks, pixel
